The FreesearchR app is a simple, clinical health data exploration and analysis tool to democratise clinical research by assisting any researcher to easily evaluate and analyse data and export publication ready results.
How it works
Easy data analysis for clinicians
We are a group of researchers passioned about providing evidence based care for patients everywhere. Key to this is to help clinicians and other engage in transforming data to knowledge and decision making.
Barriers
There are many barriers in research. We want to lower the barrier for clinicians and others to engage in data analysis
Empowerment
We want to empower clinicians to be able to translate data into decions locally.
Knowledge
We want to provide learners with the foundational knowledge needed to verify and validate findings to make make decisions and to know when to seek others input.
Whats next?
The FreesearchR project and app evolves with the users
User feedback and suggestions are key to the FreesearchR project. Below are some of the features and content we are currently working on or dreaming of.
- Translation of the app interface (currently English and Danish is supported while Swahili, Swedish and German are in progress)
- Improved support for analysis of longitudinal design (currently only cross-sectional is supported)
- Extension of the FreesearchR knowledge database to include basic research course, extended FreesearchR app instructions and suggestions for further learning
- Improved options to run the app locally
- Funding and a sustainable model for future development of the app including the involvement of more contributors. Please reach out if you have suggestions (find email below)!
